Truckloads, also known as Full Truckloads (FTL or
sometimes TL), represent the bulk, by weight, of the commerce of the United
States. Truckloads of goods move 24 hours per day throughout the country,
whether it's a truckload of raw materials to a manufacturing site, a truckload
of finished goods to a retailer's distribution center, or a truckload of
consumer goods moving from stop to stop until it's empty. Then it returns for
more truckloads and the process begins again. Truckload shipping can consider
van or flatbed trailers, depending on your shipment configuration. Often
truckload shippers contact truckload carriers because the particular shipment
in question may not fill up an entire truckload container. In this case, 4 Way
Logistics can even negotiate pricing with a truckload carrier on your behalf
for pricing on what's called a Partial Truckload. Your partial truckload
shipment can be priced well below Full Truckload (FTL) pricing. Just ask.
